Background

We have been in business for nearly 20 years.  We have never sold any equipment to the general public as we were holding the rental price market all over Australia.  When an item of equipment did not pass our tough standards we would cut it up and destroy it.  What still passed all the Australian Standards we stored away to one day have the largest auction of equipment ever…. TODAY IS THAT DAY!!

HAVE BEEN IN AMUSEMENTS  SINCE 1997

 Fabric Quality

All castles are made from PLATO 15 to 18 ounce fabric.  If you do not know what that is then do not worry it but it means it is the best fabric in the world and all equipment is made from that including the bags.  All inflatables will pass and do pass Australian Standards AS3533.  If you do not know what that is, do not worry because it is the world’s best standard and it is for Australia.

Registration & Log Books

If you’re in a state that needs registration (this is only ever needed if you’re going to rent it out) then we can provide you the state design proof that will get them passed.  If you also want a log book then we charge $250 for that in a digital version per castle.

Sizes

Any castle that is regular in size has 1.6m to 1.8m walls and anything that is labeled a large has 1.7 to 1.8m walls. The size quoted (in the description) is operating size therefore on the ground pegged down footprint size.  The height of the castles are between 3.2m and 5m.

Castle Colours

The fabric colours can be random. When buying think of it as the theme you are buying and not specific fabric colours as file photos are used.

Other Accessories

We sell other accessories in other listings like rain covers, ground sheets, blowers, theme kits and pegs. You will need at least a blower to make the castle work.  If you are not already a castle renting company that has spare blowers then you will need to purchase a blower from our site or others as long as it is large mouth blower 1.5HP

Fabric and thread used is WORLDS BEST and if you want to get a sample pack to make sure it is what you need, then we have a SAMPLE FABRIC option for $5.  We post out the fabric and thread so you can make sure it exceeds your standards. Or you can pickup the sample from our warehouse

Repairs & Cleaning 

These castles have all been opened and inspected before being listed here.  Most of our stitching has 4 rows.  So the castles will rarely have a hole greater than 2cm but may have sections where it may have broken through 1 or 2 rows of thread but not all the way inside.  This means it still has years of life left in it.  Most equipment has not had tears or fixes on them.  If there is a fix on it then it is a good fix with a repair patch and the castles will last years. These castles are built to last 3000 hours.  None of the equipment has any more than 1200 hours on them.  We know this because everything was always booked on our electronic booking system so we know the average hours by theme on every castle.

You will need to spend an hour or two with some elbow grease giving them a clean.  When they were opened and inspected we did not clean them.  If it needs a clean use Eucalyptus detergent with a white soft scourers and it will make it shine.

Story

At Jumping J-Jays all our castles were built to make sure they last more than 5 years.  If you buy from other equipment sellers remember they are in the business of selling you replacement equipment every year.  We never did this.  As we had franchisees we built them to be robust and we had 8 engineers working on our castles for years to build them tough.

Freight

Commercial Castles are large and heavy and bulk pallet items but we can freight all over Australia like we have for the first 600 we have sold.  We do not profit from freight and we quote some examples of freight costs below.  These are all back-load freight prices for regular sized castles. 

These castles just CAN NOT go on a regular courier so allow 10 to 14 days for East Coast and double that for WA. Most times you pay the courier directly when they arrive.

A little bit of info about Bulk deliveries

Generally this item is a bulky item so couriers need you to have a forklift.  Bulky items are sent on bulk pallet trucks.  Bulk pallet trucks like TNT or Northline etc. do not do FREE REDELIVERIES.  Unlike little parcel vans that run around the suburbs twice a day pallet trucks do not do that.  So when you checkout if you select a residential house and you do not have a forklift send to a business or friend that does.  We could also send to a freight depot near you.  Just ask us for a quote.  If we send on one of our backloads down the east coast then that driver does house deliveries and rolls castles off. Sadly the big transport companies do not do that due to OH&S 

If you choose a business then you MUST add building name and address. Some couriers will call but some will not. 

BULKY GOODS DELIVERY

-$140 flat rate fee to the Northside of Brisbane

-$200 flat rate fee to the Southside of Brisbane

-$250 flat rate fee to the Gold Coast, Ipswich or Sunshine Coast

-$350 flat rate fee to Sydney or Rockhampton

-$450 flat rate fee to Melbourne or Townsville

**We use backload trucks for all of the above and usually do all drops in other country towns we pass but following that main highway.  Sometimes these deliveries will be after hours

Castle Look and Finish

The image shown is a file photo of a new castle. 

This is not the actual castle and actual item will vary.

EG: Small colour changes, tops of wall finish, quantity of anchor points, back walls may not be painted but fronts always are, some may have front netting.  The most important part is that you will get $150 to $400 per rent and make you money.

Sorry we can’t open 700 castles again and we have done it already over the last years as all equipment was returned to Brisbane.  The price on offer will never be repeated and is a bargain for anyone who wants to rent them out or anyone who wants to buy instead of renting it from a company.

·        Paint that has old business name can be removed by you easily with ACETONE available at Bunnings

·        The sample freight prices are for the 4m x 4m castles.  Large castle expect at least 50% more. Pickup FREE

·        Castles weigh between 80kgs and 200kgs (these are not toys)

·        Rain Covers for all inflatables available on separate listings at $75 plus $25 delivery for any size.  So a $100 investment will save every rental for the life of the castle.

·        If buying a JUMPnSLIDE (Combo) or Moving Mouth (Active) you can buy extra theme panels for the front for just $150 each or 4 for $500.  Ask us about how this works. More themes on 1 asset give you more RENTS!

·        The JUMPnSLIDE or Moving Mouth you buy will be that theme but it may be a panel that is 3d attached to the game with a second rentable theme underneath, giving you 2 options for a customer’s party rent or event theming.

·        All our castles have the best thread in the world direct from England and are a bonded nylon so it won’t rot – SO YES ALL CASTLES can be used in rain or wet for the summer.
